So I have a 34 Chevy pickup. It has the stock front end and steering arm. I want to keep all of this looking stock, but how do I get power steering in there. It looks like I can just build a bracket and take the post from the old gear box. I was just hoping someone here has done this before.

You cab use a Sweet Mfg. power steering servo.
Cut the steering shaft into attach a mount to the frame insert this servo use splined connectors on each end of the servo and use a GM small power steering pump, it's valved for this pump.
It's pretty inconspicuous and you can use the factory steering box this way.:)

The 60's Corvettes and Mustangs used an assist ram on the steering arms instead of a powered box. Cheaper than a Sweet. Some tractors also used an assist box similiar to the Sweet unit.
