I've been watchin' Mecom muscle car auctions & it definitely looks like prices are softening for collectables. Nice Vettes were goin' for reasonable $$$ & a beautiful 427 '69 Chevelle SS clone went for $22K. It costs nearly that much to put a BB in a car like that. And a '72 Nova Yenko S/C 427 clone went for $17,500... wish I was there! A 427 in a small car like that would b a BLAST to drive!!!

Interesting you should mention this at Car D'lane this weekend there was also a Silver car auction. A very nice 66 Imp 427 425hp 4sp car didn't sell at 22,900. An excptional 440 GTX got to 25k and was taken off the podium while a 66 corvair corsa turbo went for 16,900:eek::eek:.

This rear rad 29 Essex rat went to $5,100 and stopped...didn't sell.
This 86 Packard Bayliss serial #001 of 2 got to 30k.

Hemi Cuda!?!?

Darn, just when I was hoping to get way too much money for some of my cars.

Yep, I waited too long to sell mine. That's okay I'll keep em till the market turns back around. Or maybe I'll keep em.

Yeah... I may have waited too long to sell my primo Hemi Cuda convertible! Er... & then I woke up!!! :D:D:D
