Thought you guys might enjoy some pics of where we went today. Estancia, NM 13th annual Pumkin Chunkin. Compressed air cannons are the favorite. I think the record is close to 4000 feet. Mostly just an old propane tank to store the air a butterfly valve and a bunch of pipe.

Wow,Those cannons are really neat.The El Lanucho Grenade looks to be a serious unit.Oh That house does look a little spooky.

COOL! I've seen those on television before. Must be a blast (pardon the pun) to see in person. Amazing how far those fellas can launch a pumpkin.

They make my air, golf ball chunker look pretty small.

For some reason the biggest cannon wasn't set up. It's mounted on a 40' compressed gas trailer with an 80 foot barrel. It's called El Mucho Gusto.
