Any secrets about replacing the radius arm bushings on a 79 F100?

2x or 4x? I have done tons of the 4x4 variety, and they go pretty easy. I usually go with Poly bushings upon replacement. What part is giving you trouble? I have seen the rubber rusted into the steel before, and that just takes a bigger hammer. I have also used ratchet straps to pull the axle around were I need it.

Its a 2 wheel drive, was told to remove the bracket thats holes it, mine has 2 bolts and a rivet, guess I should cold chisel that rivet off. Does the front end come down when you take the arms down? Should the frame be held up with jake stands? Thanks

The ones Iv changed, jack the truck up, take the nut off, hook a comealong to the axle and pull it forward until it pulls out of the bracket, replace bushing and put back together.
