Rat Rod Magazine, which is based in Minnesota sponsored a show & swap meet today. Several rat rods were there along with a few hundred shiney cars and a hundred swappers.
Some of the cars and trucks pictured have been on the rat rod tours, one to Las Vegas and one to Louisianna. More credit to them.

Runs on fuel oil.

Long wheelbase winner!

A late model frame but the cab is slid back.

Martin Laddau would like this one. More later, dogs need to go out to pee.

Accessorized? Yep.

Hard to ignore a Chevy powered Metropolitan.

I believe there was a fire truck involved.

More fire truck.

Great pics Bob.
Thanks for posting them.
I never knew there was a Rat Rod magazine and I agree with you on the magazine fleet cars. First ones not bad. Kind of like Dirty Rats. The second one is trying to hard.[S
Torchie.

Bags all around.

Patina.

Man, this blown small block sounded good.
I can say that rat rodding is alive and well here. Curiously, the large majority of the rat rods are concentrated north and west fof the metro area. They know how to have fun up there.
There was a hundred or more street rods and muscle cars that I pretty much ignored.

Really big swap meet tomorrow at the state fairgrounds.

A street legal dirt car for me
