Rat rods

Hello everyone, I just joined this site and am trying to gather as much input about building a rod as I can. I have an engine sitting down here that needs completion, a .030 over 318 that I want to put into an old Dodge frame and chassis and make some type of creation with. Any particular year the best one for this? Or does it really matter? Anyway, hello.

The best advise I can give you is read through the build threads and evaluate your fab skills to what you'd like to do and be realistic. A lot of people get overwhelmed because they take on too much. Everyone here will tell you that the first thing to consider is safety. We like safe rods...for your sake and ours! Happy trails and keep us updated when you start building.
