Ratty leather jacket!!!

Ok... the old Tripper was lookin' through his closet to see what he's gonna be wearin' when the weather gets down in the 60's & 70's here... brrrrrr!!! Anyway I found a couple of previous years' leather jackets & thought... hummm... rip 'um up, skuff 'um up... add some kool skull patches... patches from some *old* oil companies, spark plug companies, firearm companies, stealth fighter patches... Bowtie patches... etc. I've started gettin' some stuff in from daBay already & once I get something done... I'll post 'er up. Gots ta git ready for those bone chillin' winters here on the south coast (it even froze here once)! Guess I better get in touch with my fem side & get my sewin' skills together... maybe we could even have a sewin' bee!!! Here's the big back piece (Guns & Roses)!

hahaha sometime i wonder if youve been peekin in windows, i just got my leather out and found my ol mopar racing jacket with all the patches. i'm gonna get it cleaned and then i'll post, good thread choice trip... dp1

^ That's just teasing now. We had a heavy heavy frost yesterday morning, was about 20 degrees last night when I went to bed... So not looking forward to winter this year.

I have been keeping my eyes open for a decent bomber jacket... have had similar thoughts.

I like George Michael's music but he is definitely a lil self destructive!!! He got caught 3... count 'um... 3 times... passed out on the street in his car with drugs on him! Once at a red light!!! I mean damn... the guy's rich & needs to get a chauffeur! I have *never ever* passed out behind the wheel... are u kiddin' me!?!? A sure fire ticket to ride... straight to jail... do NOT pass go... do NOT collect $200!!! But his jacket was pretty darn kool!!!

I scored some really kool skull, grenade, & other kool patches & am just about ready to get on with it. The large back patch I bought looks kinda frilly so I'm gonna keep lookin'!!!
