i had the rear rubber bushings that hold the rear frame pull out
no ford dealer in the us have them what can i do
can i put 4 inch pipe in there an weld them solid

I am not sure what it looks like. But welding anything in solid that is supposed to have bushings doesnt sound quite right.

My buddy has one of those set aside for putting in his 70 mustang and i got a good look at it a while ago looks like you could get performance bushings to match something up in urathane

I'm not sure which bushings you're talking about either, but have you looked into aftermarket? Polyurethane?

Yeah, making some is easy enough. Just find some rubber that is close to size and get to work!

The last time i made my own rubber i got an unwanted letter in the mail. Boy was she mad.

I've used that rear sub frame in a Rat, and I just welded the sub frame in after making sure the pinion angle was right. If its the bushings I'm thinking of they just bolt the subframe to the unibody.

I'm suprized you don't see more used in projects. Easy to get and convert over and great for bagging. The only down side I found was the funky bolt pattern, and its a bit narrow. Front wheel drive Ford stuff. I reversed some FWD 15" rims though and solved both problems.
