Just wondering if any one changed out the window in there model a sedan/coupe or truck with somethign different. I see some of the early guys use the duece header and frame.

I dont mind if i lose the opening windshield or not and not interested in buying a stock frame for 2-300 bucks... Theres plenty of rigs i could get a donner from.

Any ideas?

You could not use a frame and cut the glass to the opening, urethane it in and put a windshield moulding around the edge...just make sure you use safety glass.

Guy on another forum has pics of one he made for a truck. I was going to do one like it for my 29 Tudor cause my frame is gone. Its just 1" by 1/8" flat outside frame and 1" by 3/16 or 1/4 " inside with a narrow spacer the thickness of your glass and seal inbetween .Its all held together with buttonhead bolts all around looks realy cool if you like that look.
The only tricky part is doing the curved bottom but nothing that a bit of slicing and welding
cant acomplish. I would post a link but dont know if we are allowed since its on KB.

If you need glass cut to your pattern, send me the pattern, I'll send you the glass! PM for more info, but you'd be lookin' at about 100 delivered for a piece of windshield glass, laminated safety glass, cut to your pattern.....green, gray, bronze or clear glass
