I am seeing more and more scooters and mopeds on the streets these days, but I don't think I've seen one quite like that. Cool little rig. How do they make the tag hover?

I know you wouldn't want to see me on one. I'd look like a Shriner, or worse, one of the McGuire twins.

They start out as a Honda Ruckus, a very basic 49cc scooter that these guys mod out and strip even further.

I'd never seen one close till yesterday. A guy was cruising through the neighbor hood so I was gawking at it. He spotted my Olds and stopped to take a look so I went and got a look at his scooter. Kinda neat.

They are all over the city here in Chicago.. there are clubs of them here, some of them are pretty tricked out... some guys put alot of money into them for the wide rear tire conversions, long swing arms.. and engine mods.. there are actually alot of places to get parts for them

There are clubs of old school mopeds done up like cafe racers.. those are pretty fun too

we got em all over here. There is even a Classic Scooter gang running around Milford with late 60's early 70's vespas. They have them all tricked out with chrome straight pipes and wild paint.
