Had a neighbor in our old neighborhood that would work on stuff at all hours. He was a self employed handyman. Every once in awhile, he would start banging or sawing something at some crazy time in the night. Soon, one of the other neighbors would come out and yell "Bill, shut the hell up, it's X:00 in the morning!". He'd yell back "Oh, sorry." and the noise would stop. That went on for the ten or so years until we moved. Probably still happens.

Good one, Billy. I work with a guy who was a bass player with a lot of famous groups over the years. He grew up in a really affluent area of upper NY, and his next door neighbor was Fred Gwynne (Herman Munster). He said that every so often, when he was in his basement playing his guitar, Fred would call and ask them to turn down the music a little !

I thought that was pretty funny...........Herman calling you up and complaining !
