There was a time I wouldn't have even considered buying a car or truck that was rusted... like rusty rockers or floorboards. Now I wouldn't consider buying one that's not rusted! Funny how that's changed!!! [cl

I had a 65 GTO in 1970 with a rusty roof from a vinyl top that I removed. Being a teenager with NO money I painted it with some of my dad's white housepaint. I was the social outcast at our cruise site! Ahead of my time I suppose!!:D..CR

when i was a kid, 57-60 ford trucks were just "old trucks" now they seem way more cool-is it just the added 30 years or am I changing??

alot of "stuff" seems that way....[S:confused:

Yeah, some years and/or makes were just looked at as ugly and not very interesting. Then someone decided to be different and build a wicked ride using one of these ugly ducklings and boom overnight they become sought after iron and prices climb.

Yeah it's funny alright. I spent 5 1/2 yrs restoring our 70'B-2 To a very high level. Now that it is done don't mess with it much. Always worried about a scratch Or getting dirty. Now I can't wait to start on our rat project. I'm almost sure that we'll enjoy it even more! Bring on the rust & patina!!!
