Hey GUYS, Check out this Salvage yard in Minnesota. This guys go some pretty interesting Vehicles. And some are fairly cheap too. I like this truck 1947 International Mailtruck, don't know what i'd do with it but it looks different...

That guy has a ton of stuff. Pretty easy to work with too. If you are in Wilmar, MN area check out windy hill salvage. He will not advertise his "classics" collection but to give you an idea the back of the lot is a grassy hill covered with all 20's and 30's vehicles

Sunday I'm heading for a Minnesota junkyard about 100 miles away to pick up the body for my next project. Stay tuned...

There's also a good sized place in Angus that had a mess of old tin a few years back.

This is what I went to get. It is a '26 or '27 Chrysler coupe that was made into a pickup cab by some farmer probably many years ago. here's a build going on over on the H--B that caught my eye. I thought I could make something similiar with this.

Here's the flip side. A BIG piece is missing. I scoured the yard for doors that I could cut up to make one to fit and look original. Unfortunately I didn't find much. The chances of snaging a door for this thing somewhere is pretty remote. Also, it is a little too antique-looking to build something with the sleekness I envisioned. So, It looks like there will be no new winter project. That's ok though as I have a number of improvements and modifications to make to some of the existing fleet.

Gotta do it soon though, He is selling it all off. what doesn't sell, he is gonna auction next fall. I'm gonna have to start a "project fund".
