Thanks in advance! Wish those gals would air my tires & wash my windshield too. 1st they started offering a 'self serve' section with the real 'full serve' ones & then... well you know!!!

We pump our own here...new jersey still pumps for you, but sadly no windows! where is Eman? Haven't seen or heard from him.. is he MIA?[S..:D..cr

The man across the street from my parents owned 3 Exxon stations & I worked at them during the summers as a teen. My parents worked downtown & would drop me off & pick me up at his best station that was a cross from a hospital. He catered to all the Doctors & we hand washed 30-40 cars a day & serviced them. That was a real $$$ maker... nothing but full service but they paid him big time!!!

Yeah, '38 Chevy Coupe. I had one like that in the late seventies but lost interest in it because it was a little rough to build a slick street rod out of .........if I only knew about rat rods then:(..........oh well, still got my Willys:D

Oregon has a law there is no self serve gas pumping. Freaked me out when we drove through. Some guy started using the pump we pulled up at and I was like 'What the heck's this jerk doing?' Then he came and asked what kinda gas we wanted! :p

Hit a spot 2 years ago somewhere in the southwest that actually did the windows and offered to check oil, etc. He said his Dad started the business like that and that's how it's gonna be... it beats sittin' behind the register all day.
