26Troadster, aka heart-of-dixie-t, aka odie

p.s. just look around and you will see some other names that you will know.

Welcome to RRR, Track-T. Nice T you got there. Hope to see some more pics of the build.

i know you got a th350 and i got the th400 but my tranny hump is going to be alot bigger and longer. i thought i had mine setting low enough to clear, hell from the side of my roadster(26) you can see the tranny pan and the bottom of the trans. may have to try again.

odie

Odie, I added 18" to the back of the frame so the wheels would be
centered in the fender arc. That put the body back which gave me
the small tranny hump, But I have to extend the hood 2 1/2"to
reach the nose.
even sitting low (top of body is at 3') you can see the tranny pan.
once the rolled pan thingie is on it should hide it a bit.

yes geech, I hide out on the NTBA also.

i built my frame and set my motor forward enough that my hei dist. just touches the firewall, but i did channell the body 3" over the frame. i set the rearend to be center of the fender lip too, they look funny if you don't. the pic with my name is the last pic i took of the t, but have done some more work to it sense. used a pinto front end and a 8" ford rear that i have made the plates to weld on to make it look like a fab 9", i think it will look nice when done. i would post some pics but i have to use a computer at work and don't have a scanner, maybe will have mine back up soon.

odie

You mean this pic Odie?
looks like you got things handled. difference with mine is that I channeled
4" in front and 3" in back which gives a more rack to start with.plus mine seems
to have more kick up in the rear.

my kickup is 12 3/4" but i have coil springs mounted from the top of the axle tube to the bottom of the frame on the kickup. going to finish the streeing this week if nothing else happens, last week was tough, lost a great aunt, my best friends mom, and then my mother in law fell and broke her arm had surgery friday morning to reset it. that don't incould my probs for the week. new week and its got to be better. yes that is my roadster and i did cut the trunk open so i will be able to get to the gas tank and battery. what kind of higne did you use?
