Yes, we'll be there but only briefly. It's been so dry here for so long that I'm still feeding cows every day and can't be gone too long at a time.

The Houston INC (Impalas and Caprices) has an annual party in conjunction with the LSRU at Richard Moya Park...not far from the main event. We're having a catered BBQ lunch at noon Saturday. If you need a break by then, you should stop by...I'll buy the BBQ.

We'll probably have about 100 or so cars there that mostly all look alike but my wife got "artsy" with our lic plates so we kind of stand out. They are both dark gray/green '95 Impalas with ram air hoods but hers has a pink bow tie with pink plates that say "HER SS". Mine has a blue bow tie and blue plates that say "HIS SS".

Anyone there will know who we are....most of them are young black kids from Houston with Donks...we're the two old white folks with hot rods. So we kind of "stick out".

Congrats on the retirement. I've been hitting the gym like a job. Wake up at the same time (4:30 am), go to the gym and come home sore. Just like work........LOL

I've been retired for 15 years. One piece of advice for you and gassersgarage; Whenever anyone tells you they are thinking about retiring talk them out of it. There's enough people driving around during the daytime. We don't need any more retirees clogging up the roads.
