skinn bottom part of doors

2 39 chev doors need to fix the bottom 3' to 6' inches rusted out easy way hard way i would like to make this as easy as possible any ideas or clues appericated don't want to cut up or remove more than i have at the same time i'm going to reverse the door this repair is on 39 chev 2 door somebody has done this both ways i'm sure; thanks i'll try to do it right.

If its all rotted off then get a lower patch panel other wise just cut out the cancer and replace it in pieces.This place has patches but no pics may have to call them.

let me get this right. The bottom half of your door is rusted out, and you want to suicide the doors(reverse the door as you say).? is the inner structure rotted out also?? if not to replace the outer skin. Grind the skin edge enough that it just enough that it splits it, then measure up your 3-6" make a mark straight across the the door and cut along it with a cut off wheel. then take that piece and trace it onto your piece of sheet metal and add 1/2" to the sides that need to be folded over. from there line up your piece and tack weld, then proceed to hammer and dolly the skin over the inner structure. then weld up it up, doing hammer and dolly along the process of welding
