Have a sweet 1953 Pontiac. Shes heavy. Can I get heavy duty stopping power w/o going to disk brake setup??

here's the best adapter kit for disc brake conversion, and it will cost less than a stock brake rebuild.

My opinion, even if you put a brake booster on, those drum brakes are still just drum brakes. You'd have to go up in size to make a real difference. Go with the disc kit - it'll make a huge difference.

Thanks for the advice ( just go w/ disc brakes. I ask buddies and get no where lol.
