Somehow it looks like it might be photoshoped or something. Tires don't look like they are digging in? Suspension not squating in the rear-front axle not hanging down when its up in the air.. The shadow underneath Looks a little off, the lines are too crisp and the shadow too detailed? Look at the shadow of it driving in the parking lot.

I've been saving pics of this rat as I find them. Have an A I want to 'gasser up', and this is about the stance I'm after.. Heres acouple.

See if you think the stance of the suspension changes when its on the ground or up in the air??

I dont think its chopped, everything is lining up to good. The tires not squatting is a little weird but they may not be soft side slicks. But then again, look at the driver side rear, its wrinkled and biting pretty good.

As far as the tires, if you notice when its just driving around the back wheels aren't as deep as the wheels on the track. Tires get changed out all the time at tracks, thats nothing new. Also, look at the two pictures, the one where its on the ground is a different time than the racing pic. Look in front of the passenger door, on the ground there isnt a little yellow sticker but on the drag strip there is, so he may not have even had slicks in the other pic.

I don't think it's chopped either. These cars don't weigh anything and even a street slick would provide enough traction for that wheelie

IF that was pchopped it was already in the air. At most a foot lower. Look at the shadow. You can even see the bumps of the pipes on te far side. NOT Pchopped.

Thats the "organ grinder". I have seen it run at the rat rod rumble and the drag bash. It does run good and he aint easy on it either. I have seen it yank it a little on a unpreped track.

that was the only pic someone sent me .... pchopped or not its still kool.... but now you all got me wondering???? i hope its real

Here is one of at the line but not in action. With the stance it has, it would be easy to lift the front. I can raise or drop the front of my drag bug and it will make a big diffrence in how it will launch.

Good pic!! Got any more?? Racing hot rod trucks is always fun!! (Mainly cause they are HEAVY and a$$ light, and easy to beat) also- Cowboy hotrodders are good guys to hang with--lotsa heart..

The whole idea of the gasser was hooking up. I understand it lost favor cause it wasn't effective. (also maybe a top end instability?). Making that BBC powered 2500 lb rat, sitting on 12" slicks, bite hard enough to pull the front like that seems pretty effective to me.

I've got a 455 Pontiac powered 26 T roadster that has smoked 16" MTs, and if rasing the nose will fix that I might haul it outta the shed and go stoplight racing :)..

Do you know this guy, or his name? I live in AR, and I'm thinking of copying some of the look of his coupe, and would like to talk to him.
