About a month ago, we stopped at a fruit market in Fla on our way home from the beach. An older couple and their friends from Quebec and could barely speak English was stranded because his battery was dead and no one would help them out even tho there were about 15 other cars/trucks there. He asked if we could jump start their SUV, I said sure just let me back my truck and trailer around to you. Got them started and pointed them to where he could buy a battery. He made us take $20 but we told him that he didn't owe me anything but he insisted while he had tears in his eyes since they were there for a while because no one else would help them. I couldn't just turn my back on them and leave them stranded. I treat others how I want to treated.

Never want to lose hope that people still can do the
Right thing.....sometimes it shows itself in small ways...other times it could be life saving.....anyway, hope I never become so cynical that I forgot that people can be kind or helpful to each other.....
