Why is it the smallest stupidest things take the longest time?! The brake light on my panel truck wasn't working so I set off yesterday morning to fix it. THe hydraulic pressure brake light switch that went south. The one on my truck had slot type connectors for wiring but the only one I could find locally had post type connectors but the unit was only $6... perfect! Then I couldn't find a pigtail locally to match but Radio Shack to the rescue. This should have only taken about 30 min. to fix but wound up taking about 4 hrs. No wonder it takes so long to build a hot rod! [ddd:eek::eek:[ddd

If it was easy everbody would do it.

Sounds about like the way things go around here. Go to fix something, the part you bought is wrong even though it is supposed to be the same, have to go try to exchange it, argue with the counter person that it's wrong, show them it's wrong, they argue they gave you what the computer called for, again show them it's wrong, spend a hour looking for the right part, get your money back, go to a different store, lay it on the counter, man says how many you want?

tools too

l just went and got the ''right" part for my big stand up compressor and still had to modify it to fit [S

l feel your're pain, a 1O minute job took 2 hours.
