I happened across a set of Autolite racing plugs, AR 132 to be exact. I put them in my coupster, runs great but (there is always a but).

What kind of life expectancy would these have or is it even a good idea to run them on the street? In a racing environment they would be changed often I would think.[S

Your thoughts on this?

I'm no expert in this (or any other) arena but you should be fine. I know of people who use the AR plugs in their street cars with no adverse effects such as short life. I'm not saying this is gospel. It's just what I know from other users of AR plugs.

They should last as long as a regular plug. A hot spark like MSD will wear a spark plug out a little faster then a standared ignition. Run it and have fun.[ddd

Thanks guys, I live in the sticks so I have to travel on the highway a ways to get anywhere so I don't want to get stuck out along side the road.

I'll run em and enjoy the ride.

I have to plead ignorance, but what is the difference in plugs?...CR

There is probably other differences but here's a picture.
