I loose track, whose doing what? Whose projects are moving along? Who's driving theirs? Who is sitting on a pile of crap that hasn't seen any progress in months or years? Who brought home some rust heap relic, tore a bunch of it apart and then lost interest?

Mine comes pretty close to falling into this category..progress has been slow, but at least motivation and enthusiasm are still high..just not enough hours in the day..

I'm collecting parts as I find them, got a few other things in front of the rod, wife's Vette is next. Gotta get hers fixed before I can do anything else to mine!

Almost traded the rod the other day for another Vette, then when the guy began telling me what was wrong with it, decided it was a bigger piece of crap than what I already had!:)

I know the feeling of this!!! I like to keep about 5 projects going at any given time. That way when you hit a tough spot on one you just move to a different until you figure out what to do with the other. Of course the worst part is at some point you get them all stuck and don't know what to do. That is when you sell a couple and get a couple different projects and start all again.

After nearly two years the Dodge is still clinging to life, I stay pretty motivated with it for the most part. Trying pretty hard to stay on it lately.

I used to do that but was always too spread out and never got anything done.
I am chomping at the bit to get started on the 58-60 F1-- but will not even drag it up to the garage until the rpu rolls out.

I busted it so hard gettin' ready for Lone Star Round Up that I haven't really been up to doing much to my '41 lately except drivin' the wheels off on the weekends. I'm fixin' to get some new artillery wheels for the back that aren't so wide so I can put the rear fenders on. Also designing a deck for the bed that will have expanded metal so you can still see the quick change rear.

Lets see....I sold my 40 Studebaker late last year so I could concentrate on the 54 Studebaker pick up I got, but I've been working a lot of hours at work the last 6 months, so work on that has been limited. My buddy who helps on this stuff was in an accident and he's still not back in action yet, so some of the little things (and not so little things) that he would do while I was off working haven't gotten done either.

During the few hours I do have, I've been putting a cage and floor in a friends Henry J, and have had to redo the floor three times already because I keep changing my mind and keep improving what I'm doing to make it nicer for him (plus the occasional screw up like not having the bead rolls quite right and having to redo that stuff).

To add to the fun and festivites, I recently bought the 40 Studebaker back, and I'm going to rebuild a transmission (since I haven't found a cheap good one) to put in it and put that back together so I have something fun to drive.

The good part about the 40 is that it's really just the transmission then bolting things back together so I should have that back on the road quicker then the pick up....I think:confused:
