I've never seen the show, as I don't have TV. I've heard things about it, and read about it. This crash was on a track in a legal setting, but for goodness sakes - A no prep race? Even bull riders groom the arena before a buckout. Why bother putting a machine like that on a racetrack, if you aren't even gonna clean the track? It makes about as much sense as putting a lakester in a mud bogging competition. I get that it's supposed to be more like "street racing" conditions if you don't prep the track, but you know what gets raced on the street? Street cars, that have tread on the tires, and will take you to work in the morning, that's what we race on the street. Daddy Dave's car, whatever they named it, DESERVED a well groomed, clean, smooth track. I'll bet that 'no prep' nonsense is what nearly killed him.
