testingWindow motors run in both directions up and down, connect one wire to ground and one to power, it should spin one way, reverse the wires and it should run the other way, when it is running take a piece of wood and apply pressue to the gear to see if it will work under a load, sometimes they will work with no load but can be bad and not work under pressure.
