I went to the Texas Round-Up car show and Swap Meet Saturday. I took a few pics of rat rods, after all this is a rat rod forum. The first pic is one of our own members. I'll let her tell you who she is.

This is a rat built by Ben Dodson, a friend that entered his rat rod at the show...yeah, he went all out this past winter. It's a '45 Studebaker cab set on an S-10 frame with a '39 Chrysler grille. He changed the steering box to rack and pinion steering.

Is the guitar the shifter?

The over flow was a gift from her son. I believe the guitar is the shifter. Two Good Guys for one Lonestar...you gotta do better than that. This show is huge and getting bigger each year. Never seen so many tattoo'd gals in tight jeans in one place. The car show took up four huge lots, there was three buildings for vendors, the biggest was for the swap meet, (normally used for a cattle auction). The swap meet had everything from small parts to whole cars and trucks. I can sum up the size of it in three words...fifty porta potty's.

What a great bunch of rods! Wish we had shows like that closer to my area (Maryland). Going to Ocean City Cruisin' in May (20-24). There is always a few nice rats but not many.

I got your rat Chipper. It's on my wife's phone. My camera quit on me, as I was taking a pic of a car with NO rust. Even my camera knows...RUST IS A MUST!!!
