Hey, dont get me wrong. I love Christmas, New Years eve, Thanksgiving, my wifes Birthday (dec 22) but enough is enough.

Starting tomorrow morning my whole world goes back to normal.:D:D

Cant wait to get to it.

I couldn't agree more. I hate to say it, but I really dread Christmas every year. It was great when the kids were little, but anymore it just puts so much stress on everybody that I breathe a sigh of relief when it's over. Everybody always feels they could have bought more for the people in their lives that it just gets nuts.

This year we put a very small dollar limit on each of us, and it really took some of the heat off. Usually I go nuts at Christmas and overspend, and then everybody else feels they have to spend lots too. This year we all went to my ex-wifes house for dinner and had a very simple, stress free time.

Even with that I am glad to get on to the New Year. :):)

I started a diet today and will lose 30 pounds by April 15. We're going on a cruise and I don't want to have a big old gut hanging over my speedo. HB

We as a family, decided a long time ago, Holidays were for the kids. It was getting ridiculously expensive to exchange gifts. Since that time, things are much more relaxed. More so in my case, since my wife and I don't have kids (Not for lack of trying :p)

My wife and I aren't party people so we don't feel the excitment or rush of the holiday seasons. The only down side I see is the holiday traffic. I hate driving my rod in traffic...............but I do anyway. :D

Speedo---------NOT

Well, maybe not a Speedo. Maybe some long baggies. There are a lot of Europians on the cruises we've been on and I guess Speedos are normal to them. They freak me out. Some of their bellies are so big that you can't tell if they have anything on at all. Harleyboy
