I think I only owned one of those cars on the list, however I disagree with the Infiniti M30 comments, and the car I owned was the VW 411/412, actually a great little utility car...

I didnt see the Hyundia Pony or Stellar there...Maybe they werent imported into the US as they were in Canada, around 1984.....What piles they were.

I stopped looking when I saw they had a 71ish c10 listed as a 78 with engine problems. I'm not sure how a truck with the most common engine in the works can be considered as having "horrible engine problems".

there are a couple that i would never had put in there, but that is me. my brother had a 79 chevy truck with the d-cell motor, the best thing i ever did for was pull it out and drop in a 350 olds gas motor.

Same time period... Ladas and Skodas. I believe their VINs were actually an expiration date. Like a quart of milk.

There are some real turds in that 'top 50 worst' for sure, but many of the others were actually pretty decent and/or successful cars and seem to make the list just based on one persons opinion. An odd color or weird grille (Edsel..) does not make them a bad car. To me, structural, mechanical or performance defects or shortcomings make for a lemon, if you go out and buy a downright fugly car, that's your fault....
