Just curious on how many of you have wives/girlfriends/husbands/ boyfriends that SUPPORT you in the hobby and actually care about the stuff you do with cars.

I guess Im lucky enough to have a wife that works every show with me and is into the cars as much as me.
What about you- does the S.O. have a ride of their own?

:D

Reason 4 will give me suggestions
and let me know what she thinks about something I have done on the truck. Thats is close onough to supporting the hobby that I could ask for.

Can't really afford but 1 Hotrod...

My wife leaves me alone which, is all I can ask for. She even recommends I take one of the girls from work to shows/cruises so I won't be alone. She really hates riding in my cars.

Dang so fare what ive read i fill sorry for you guys !
Sence we have a son now she dont do as much with me on them but she always ready to ride them with me ,and she injoys going to shows and stuff with me .
She suppots me as long as i'm not spending a bunch of money on them.
I built her cars before and she wont drive em [just likes to say she has one i guess]We useually sail hers though when we get in a jam.

My wife has her own car, a bone stock 48 Chev Stylemaster with 63,000 original miles and loves to go to events. If I ask she is more than willing to give me a hand on my roadster.
Every time we go to Sears she drags me to the tool dept so I can see if there is anything I need......almost embarrassing.

I hate driving my car around my girlfriend. All she does is complain about it and doesn't understand why I'd want to work on old rusted things! It really makes me mad!

Don't tell her, but she's probably going bye-bye here pretty soon!

My wife and family are real good about my hobbies. As long as I'm showing some kind of progress, she never says boo. My kids (who are all adults, and are having their own families now) think it's great, they get to play with dad's toys too. And then there's my grandkids...............;):)

my Girlfriend is AWESOME, she helped me count my change that I forgot about just this morning (1-3-08) so I could use it on the 33. She has her own 64 ford pu I built for her a couple years ago.

Great support from the better half. She likes going to car shows, and now that we are setting up a booth at some shows, she likes it more. I am not sure why that is but I'll go with it.

I am on my own.She dosent want anything to do with it.She will attend a show ,But its normally not very high on her list of things to do.

My wife is super supportive. Even though she thinks I have a serious problem
she bought me a 1971 Dodge Challenger R/T for my birthday last year and let me but a '51 F1 truck this year for a Rat Rod.

my wife may be into it possibly more than me sometimes she loves carshows and parts swap meets helps in the shop, works on her own stuff.
and cleans my tools and puts them away she is awsome here are a few pics of her in action:D

My wife is a gear head to a certain point. She has built her own 72 IH Scout engine, lift kit, and lockers. She helps when she can in the shop and has a new project 47 KB-5 IH.She doesn't have much time as she used to due to our 8 mo. old daughter. As soon as it gets warmer around here and the daughter can "hang out" in the shop she will start on her IH.But all in all she supports my "HABIT" ! She just gets aggrivated cause "I get to play and she don't"

My wife was going to car shows before I met her the funny thing was we hung around with the same people but never met each other. She used to get mad when I would leave evey weekend to go tin hunting she thought she was missing some thing untill she started to come with me for the drives in the counrty. She loved that untill I found some thing of interest then talked to the owner for some times hours to find out they were going to restore it some day. She does not come with me any more but now she lets me go and suports me in most of my junk when she has issues she is usually right.

I haven't been lucky enough to find a woman that shares my love of cars. my ex wife was into it some, but...well she is my ex. I guess my hope is that one day I will find a good woman, but till then I'll always have the cars to keep me occupied.

Anyone out there have any single sisters that like cars? :)
