well Torq my Jack Russel has to go in tomorrow ( friday) to have a small lump removed from his right back leg, the Dr doesnt think its cancer more like a benine (sp) tumor but I am still worried because he is one of my Kids. I cant even think about anything going wrong with my lil Buddy, he loves bein in the garage and when you weld he even turns around after he goes to the other side as to not get burnt. Amazing friend he is and a BIG bed warmer.

Jim
I was gonna put a pic on here but having issues with my computer

Good luck to both of you tomarrow. I used to weld pipeline years ago, and there was a welder who made a set of goggles for his dog to wear. The little green round kind. The dog looked like Snoopy fighting the Red baron.

Good luck to Torq Jim. I know they become like a family member. Here's a holloween pic of a couple of my critters to cheer ya up.

I hope everything goes well for you and Torq and you have great lab results. Our animals are our kids, we'd all do anything for the kids and animals too. Let us know something asap.
We know what it is like waiting on lab to come back, my daughter (14) had something removed off her arm last week that the Doc did not like at all. So don't worry yourself sick, I am sure everything will be fine.

Thanks very much everyone, its 3:30pm and I just got home with Torq, he is still a lil under the drugs and clingy to me kinda hard to type with him on my lap. The Tumor was Benyne so and everything went real Well the Dr said he is one of the greatest and well manored Jacks he has ever seen. I am going to be able to get back on the 33, last few weeks ive been worried sick about this, he is 7 years old and ive had him since he was 10 weeks old and he has never been away from me. I Thank everyone again for the posts and I will get pics of the Lil guy when I can.

Jim

Good news Jim. Does he have to wear one of those funnels around his head to keep him from picking at the wound?

we had a little dog once that came home from thevet with one of thoes collers and he was running on the carpet and the bottom of the coller cought on the carpet and forced him to do a head stand on the carpet and he couldnt get back to his feet until i helped him up we ended up cutting off the bottom of the collar (after we got our kicks from watching him do it a few more times)

HAHAHA Moto. Torq doesnt have one of those Funnels on his neck, he doesnt mess with anything thats done to him, Dr said thats because of the way ive raised him making sure he would wear Hats, cloths, doggie shoes etc. he was pretty drugged yesterday and had a few mishaps trying to go up and down the stairs so I had to carry him, we tried to let him sleep on the bed with us but we didnt want to kick him so I had to Kennel him for the night. Got up this morning and he is as wild as ever even with 6 stitches in his hip ( cant keep him down) he is running everywhere back to his old self. Thanks again everyone this means a lot to me. He is the Only Kid I get to have live with me in my Divorce ( which is another story) My Oldest 2 Live with their Mother. So hopefully Torq and I will get back on the 33 this weekend after today because I am trying to keep him from running everywhere so he is taking a nap as I type this ( he wont let me outta his site, he is only about 3 feet from me on the couch in the TV room)

Jim

So glad to hear he is ok Jim, its funnt how attached you can get to your pets, my daughter brings this german shepard home from softball practice about 7 years ago and i was ****ed.....didnt want another dog in the house...but i dont know what i would do if i came home and she wasnt there to greet me every night.....what a cool shop partner..

My wife had a terrier mix when I met her. She found the dog at the pound and named her "Kellie". One day, I was watching TV and Kellie was lying next to me. My wife called her dog but she stayed next to me. I told Kellie, "Go" and she went to my wife. My wife said, "Hey, that's my dog!".

My brother had a calico cat named "Georgie" that my sister bought for him. Whenever Georgie sees me, she jumps on a chair or table and waits for me to walk by. When I do, she leaps onto my shoulder, curls around my neck, kneeds her claws then goes to sleep.

My wife wonders why animals like me since I don't care one way or the other. Been around dogs and cats all my life. Dogs were mostly for protection and my sister liked cats. Even had a coyote that would come visit when I stayed at my Aunts farm house.

Go figure..........
