Not really but there were rumors a while back! My ex-brother-in-law is Australia right now & took this picture & sent it to me. He said they are everywhere down under & many are customized. GM is stupid for not importing these trucks... IMO. I think they'd sell like crazy... especially with a crankin' LS motor like the new GTO!!! :D

Ya know, I'm not fond of any new cars, but that one does look pretty good. Some of these retro cars miss the mark IMO (except the new Challengers, I love them[dr) but that El Camino is modern, but traditional too.

Not too bad. Looks kinda like a car I saw on the Amazing race on Sunday from Australia.
Have to agree with others, the MOPARS are the best, until Fiat starts doing retro Fiats.

Personally I think GM should bring a couple of the designers over here from Australia. I think they did a heck of a job with the Efijy afew years back. It was a concept car that they actually built and drove....here are a few pics

Holden is who did what we sell as the GTO here. I think this retro flashback is gorgeous. GM should find the designers and bring them here.

Now that's a car!!!
and it looks like it might fit me!!!

I was wondering why everything but a cadillac is uncomfortable for me now
and I found out that washington passed a law long time ago requiring interior design to keep your body in one position while operating and for crashes.
I thought everyone just liked the claustrophobic feeling.
Probably not a big problem for most people if your the usual size but just like with cloths I have to shop big and tall for cars...pickups still fit me

I'm only 5'11 and 180# I think the mustang is just made too small lol
But For a shirt I wear 2XLT. 3x too wide and still too short
xl on me is like fat man in a little coat
I'm long in the back like Hobbs from Calvin and Hobbs
Like a 7' tall guy with 5' tall guy legs
I just can't drive one of these cute little things.
Whats really weird is a KIA econobox and the Geo metro fits me real nice and comfortable.
Why can't a sports car fit like that?

I hold my tongue on the mercedes... they fit... Nice
BMW... too small

GM hasn't sold a GTO here since 2006. They only sold 14,000 of them that year compared to 170,000+ mustangs. This is a GTO with a pickup bed. Sorry but I can't see how this would be a big hit.

I'm not sayin, I'm just sayin....

There has always been a market for that type of vehicle in Austrailia........Utes have been around there since the 20s-30s
