Kind like the auction a few years back. Cars, car parts, tools and household stuff. It went on for 4 days with 4 auctionaire going at the same time bring in over 4 million dollars.

I was there all four day ans spent $3500.00 and could not win most of the stuff I was bidding on. NOS 36 Ford Grilles were going for about $2500 each and there was 4 of them. 27 Reo panel truck needed full restoration. $9,000.00. 35 Ford pickup all there no glass or drive drain. $5500.00. 1845 Harley in parts no trans. I dropped out at $4,000.00 went for $5,700.00

The guy had all this stuff in his barns and would not sell. I tried to buy from him many of times. He dies pour and the estate made all the money.

Yeah he had a gyrocopter that he disassembled and put inside of a school house that was on his property

Absolutely un freaking believable ! I grew up reading about AK Miller and his racing but never knew how eccentric he was ! Ended up hiding out on a farm, living like a poor man, and having millions hidden all over his farm.

If you want to read more about this very interesting man, just google his name. I would love to buy that farm, I bet they haven't found ALL the valuables he stashed there.

You never know the real story behind someone elses life and why they do stuff. Very strange. Here is one car he raced in the Mexican races, I think.

That's a pretty famous car, built to run the Pan American. It had a Mexican name that means iron horse or something, ran a 371 olds engine.

I think Ak Miller the racer is not the guy Lucky Devil posted the barn find story about. Still it's an amazing story of hoarding and in the end the taxman still won. Love to have even the crappiest one of those Stutz's.
