with the Wood chucks..... as many times as I've seen it I laugh every time.... most of them (Geico Commercials are pretty funny).... one question.... is the guy in the suit supposed to be a Miami CSI Lt. Kain clone or like Rod Sterling from the twighlite zone?[S

No, you are right on. I froze the picture and got a good look at it. It is either a 29 roadster or coupe-turned-roadster with a flathead with 2 carbs and zoomies. The grille is a 37 Ford pickup grille and the wheels seem to be 16 inchers off of a 38 Ford because of the wide 5 hubcaps. The wishbones are unsplit and it seems to have a dropped axle under it, and the tail lights are 39 Fords.

All in all, a nice little hot rod.

Think the back half, (most of it) might be handmade. Looks like a real deck lid though.
No doors, no windshield, the lip around interier looks little wide.

Whoever built it did a nice job!!!

don you are one very observant rodder...i didn't look THAT close....but it is a pretty cool lil ride-i wouldn't be ashamed to call it mine from what i saw of it...

I thought he sounds like Robert Stack, kind of an annoying dork. Some of the insurance commercials are pretty good. I like Flo (Stephanie Courtney), hate the Limey lizzard. The woodchucks are great.
