I was supposed to take the Fiat to a car show Sat, AM. But, on the way home from Gruber's the night before it started running funny. The show was at a senior living facility where my daughter's father in law lives. The little woman was going to ride with me and I didn't want to chance a breakdown. We went in the family minivan. A small show with an Elvis impersonator and free food. Lots of fun until a rain cloud parked over us and soaked the place. Food, family and cars. And my 2 year old Great Grandson was there to top it off.

OFR, I forgot to get his address tonight, but I will.

Under threat of severe thunder storms and possible hail (the weather service is out to scare us) only one car

that you all haven't seen before showed up. And it is this nice early Firebird. It left in a tire burning cloud of smoke. Mr. Gruber got his latest project running and driving. His '32 is perfection on wheels.

Mr. offroadrolls graced us with his presence tonight. He came to Minnesota to visit relatives and get an International running for them. He can tell you the rest of the story. James fit in with the Gruber crowd like he was one of us for years. Late in the season but it was a beautiful night. A few new cars showed up. I would have taken this F-85 away from Cory but he's 3 times my size. I had a '55 the same colors. A custom '53 Willys. And Flyin' Brian's Deuce with big block
