There used to be quite a few people selling them on the HAMB.
I sure wouldn't offer to sell one to a new guy with 2 posts and named head hunter. Not to be an A-hole but they are coming down on some people for doing it and you being new here, you might be one of "them"

I was thinking the same thing. Usually when someone is looking for a title the ask for a year and make. Something just does not feel right with this one.

Sell titles !!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????? Oh, no, Headhunter, we know of no one who sells titles.......wouldn't that be illegal? I have heard of people sometimes selling them to people who simply want to frame them and hang them on a wall, but that is a different story altogether.:D

Look on Ebay, I have heard that sometimes they do show up there.

FWIW, I was selling some on the HAMB, had a bunch from an old junkyard and didn't really think anything was wrong since they were "historical documents" and expressly not for illegal purposes. Well, someone ratted me out to the state and I got a call from the treasurey dept. I was told all junkyard titles are supposed to be surrendered to the state and they ask me to send all mine in. I also asked them about a bunch of old data plates I had pried off some 40s and 50s cars that were in a dam. He said I should also destroy those and not collect them.

Now whenever someone signs up and their first or second post is looking for a title, I smell a rat. Especially when it isn't even for a specific vehicle and you don't even give any basic information about yourself like where you are from.
