I thought I was going to chop this about four inches, but am becoming unsure. I kinda think it looks good like this. What is you guys' input?

Chop is really up to you, but I think the top lights would be cool mounted under the rear glass and pointed back toward followers for some reason [S

3'' chop, lose the top lights and keep the patina [cl

remember, you asked:D

Later:cool:

Definitely keeping the patina. I'm too lazy to change it and I love the look.

I know you hate those lights, but I think they're great. If i do decide to remove them, I can always do it later.

Chop it 4".

What's the wheelbase on that truck?

That's an interesting idea. I may play with the location of them and see what I like.

This late in the summer dictates a chop :)
That way all of us have a bunch of pics to look at for our entertainment ;)

The next project I tackle will be a Ford Truck cab!! I have been working one over in my head on a chop and section that would be cool as H E L L!! You have an awesome start and glad that you have decided to chop that thang!!

Good Luck and PLEASE!!!!! KEEP PICS COMING!!!!![dr[P

Ya'll know I have a thread in the build section, right?

I had to decide what to do with the cab so I can start planning out the halo bar and what not. I'm waiting on my trans to show up Wed so I can layout the tunnel and cross members. Need to figure that stuff out before I finish the rear Z. Really hoping to have a full roller by the end of next weekend.

its up to you

my buddy asked me not to chop mine but after I did he wanted to cut one haha! I went 6.25 inches a little much but it was my first and I have no regrets just remember there is alot in a chop! all those interior panells and junk. frame looks great and run those lights as turn signals and just leave them there! I thought about doing that with some rear facing clearence lights.

Yeah it looks good like it is...........but a 4" chop  There's no way I'd chop that thing four inches! Now six inches........that would be worth doing [ddd:D

The only problem is that I have nine inches of head clearance with where the seat is comfortable. If I chop 6 inches off, I will have only three inches of headroom, add in an occasional helmet and things would be way too tight. I really think 4 inches will be about as much as I can comfortably squeeze out of it.
