My Son just called to tell me James Gandolfini who played Tony Soprano on the Sopranos died. He was only 51. I loved that show and watched every episode, he was the perfect actor to play that mob leader role.
I had a heart attack at 42 and a stroke at 53, so it does happen. I never smoked a day in my life, am not really overweight (much, maybe 10 pounds) and try to eat well. But heredity can get you even if you do everything right.
You have to enjoy every day because you never know what tomorrow will bring.
Well, at least he looked old.[ddd
Diet, weight, bad habits, no denying the ill affects but stress and state of mind trump all those out sometimes. For instance, unforgiveness and bitterness can poison an otherwise healthy person pretty fast.

SO true! Two of my friends in the last year have had "widow maker" heart attacks. That type of heart attack has something like a 10% survival rate. They are both still alive and doing well but it has changed their lives dramatically. They were both in decent shape, neither one were smokers, they both worked out regularly have and had great attitudes. The commonality was family history and stress. One hated his job but felt stuck in it - he had a couple of anxiety attacks because of it. The other one has his own business and loves stress to the point of putting himself in stressful situations purposely. Both are now not working, have ab out 60% heart function and have to avoid stress all together. So it's not always about eating right, not smoking, and keeping in shape...
