trailer leafs on a rat rod

do yall think trailer leafs will hold up on a underslung front end? i have a 41 chevy pu with a altered wheel base

I think they should be fine. I`ve thought of this before myself. Trailer leafs are typically pretty short, so the ride might be a tad harsh.

These 1/4 eliptics are whacked off trailer springs. Besides being inexpensive they were what I needed and the spring place wanted too much $$$ and only had some wimpy old jeep springs in my width. Also these seem to deflect fine when I jounce it.
