so i picked up this nifty nick opening a 50lb box of welding rod -- when i gave the pull tab lid a good jerk it gave -- luckily my wrist stopped it.

hired out hahaha -- no an actual dr. did it --
i did look into buying a stapler though now .. could be handy to
have around and theyre only about 20 dollars...

ok, well this thread needed a warning, (trying to eat my breakfast when i saw that) lol :D

that was one nasty looking scrape...what in the world was in that box that caused that?[S

and of course---"be careful out there"

it was the actual LID of the 50lb box -- it comes in what i can only describe as a large tuna fish can/box -- it has a large pull tab and the top is supposed to just peel right off --- it DOESNT.... the corners almost always snag -- usually i grab pliers or use a pry-bar or something similar to pop it all the way off -- this time i just tried pulling and when it finally gave it didnt end well.

Yep, that is a nasty scratch. Maybe a Sponge BoB band-aid and some anteseptic spray.
Or you could go with the staples and blood every where.

No nerve damage I hope? That is pretty yucky.

Man...... that's one nasty cut....

glad it didn't cut any tendons and such..... could have been worse.... isn't it strange that you know darn well that something bad might happen and you do it anyway!! Like a self fullfilled prophecy.... heal up buddy..... and take it easy with those lids.....:D
