I would like to get it, but right now the guy who bought my 40 Ford is not getting back to me. All I got is a down payment and have heard from since. I tried to get a hold of him twice.
At less I told the guy with the truck I will not make an offer until I have the money for the 40.

I think I finally made a deal. I bought a 1958 Nash today. Its a driver and looks good. I am also working on a deal to trade my 40 ford for a 35 Ford truck project. I will post pictures later.

I hate those deals. I don't take down payments anymore. I just offer to remove the vehicle from the market for a certain period of time and for a certain amount of money, which they can apply to the purchase price during that period. Times up, you loose, sorry.

I guess you live and learn. The first deal the guy told me that he wanted the car and did not want to play game. Made the deal and guess who started playing game. The second guy was trying to sell his project and had two guy that were after him for a year to buy it. Guess what he called them and they did not have the money to buy. He really did want the car,
Well now that I got a driver I am working out a deal with the second guy to trade cars. Always wanted a 35 Ford pickup. I had one in high school and miss it.

Deposit: Must be returned no matter the lenght of time
Down Payment: Non returnable unless you want to. But if you don't put a time limit on next payment you are screwed and can never sell the car untill you return down payment.
