I'm designing a home built rotissery for the body of my '37 Buick Roadmaster so I can do body work & rust repair.
1) Does anyone know how much the stripped out body will weigh without the front sheetmetal?
Thanks

Thanks for the info.
1) What model & year car is that in your Avatar?
I'm considering building a rotisserie out of wood, or buying a used one because I have not welded yet. Could probably weld one after I finish this car and all the body welding I'm planning on doing, but for now I'm looking at other alternatives.
2) I'm investigating putting a lift on each corner or the rotisserie so I can lift the rotisserie with the body on it and roll the chassis under it when I'm not working on the car. Maybe electric camper jacks would work. Has anyone ever built, or seen this type of arrangement?
Thanks

I was thinking of something like this.

I have a playset that I built for my kids 20 years ago that would provide most of the lumber.
I want to put the whole thing on vertical lifts as well so I can roll my chassis under it and keep my truck in the garage when I'm not working on the body.
Figure someone out there has done this before.
Thanks
