Well guys... I heard from The Gastrick!

I heard from Gastrick today & he wanted me to pass along a lil update for you guys! 1st off... his son Josh had a lil relapse with his Leukemia and his computer is on the blink so he hasn't been able to check in lately but wanted me to let you guys know what was up with him. Don't know about you but I'm always thinking about them and I'm asking everyone to keep them in your prayers!

I too think of them almost every day, and wonder how they all are. Bill and his family certainly have been through hell and have to be worn out. They are in my prayers every night, and I just wish I could do something..........we all probably feel that way.

He posted on a thread of mine a couple days ago and I was elated to see he visited RRR.

I too think about him, his son and father a lot and hope for the best for them.

A lot of you on here only know Bill from his posts , and even then the fact that he is a super nice guy comes out of the screen. My Sons and I have been fortunate to know Bill and his family for the past several or more years, and I can say that the entire family is even nicer in person than they come across on the net. We run into them at Billetproof and Turkey run most years, and look forward to it each time.

Sometimes you meet people and you immediately feel like you have known them forever...........Bills entire family is like that. I drove over to pick up some carbs I bought from Bill and his Mom was inviting me in for dinner as soon as I got there. She and Bill Sr (Bills Pop) are like family when you meet them, and they have done a great job of passing that friendliness along to their children. Same with Bill's Brother, Rod, just a nice guy all around. If you picked a family you wanted to live next door to you, this would be the one you would want. They literally would give you the shirt off their back and think nothing of it.

It saddens me to see the health issues they have had (Bill Sr has had heart issues and Josh certainly has had his too) It seems that the really nice people in life always have the heaviest crosses to bear. I just hope everything turns around for them soon.
