I think I know:confused: but man old age,bad eyes, lack of patience you would think after two heart surgeries I would learn to CALM DOWN. I take the photos and put'em on my computer and I get a better view ?? wierd I know.. Thats how I seen there is about a 1/8 inch to much iron on the right side. my angel up behind the cab are both dead on. when I came over the axel the even thing changed ...but thats not causing this, the 2x2 is dead level .. looking at this picture u would think the 2x2 is not level ? it is, the left side 2x4 is a 1/8 lower than the right..

i cant tell if the spring is crooked or if it is an optical illusion since the diff is offset to one side. it is hard to tell with out being there and pulling some measurements. it might look odd but may be right. eyes can play tricks on ya sometimes for sure

Cornfield thanx ,, I still want everyones comments come on bring em[P ... look at the spring eyelets the axel is level, look at the bends in the spring:mad: ?? [S:confused: but also look at the one picture with the shipping tag turned when you figure this let me KNOW:confused:[S

Are the Ubolts tight on the bracket? May just have it pulled down on one side a little harder.Id get the axle brackets on get some weight on it, loosen the u bolts let it settle out and tighten everything back up.

Lay it down on a piece of cardboard or something, trace around it, flip it, and see where it's off at. That'll eliminate any optical illusion.

Put a long strait edge across the frame, then measure down to each spring eye, and also down to the floor.

Is it my eyes, or does the spring pack seem like it has more space between the leaves on the right {sticker}side than the left?

I'm going to chill or calm down and do just about everything u said.

did the long level and measuring down to the eyelets and floor. the floor is only the 1/8th off the eyelets are way off..

Just for the heck of it, I measured from the center spring bolt nut, to the center of both spring eyes. A regular ruler on the screen shows 3/16ths difference. Making one side longer than the other in the picture. How much of a difference (if any) when measured right there full size?

High arch rear springs nest better in curved crossmembers. I have even had a bit of trouble with stock Model A's getting the spring at an equal elevation. Have to go back and forth tightening the u-bolts. It's better if the u-bolts are about 6" apart and are perpendicular to the curvature of the spring.
