What frame to use?

I've got my eye on a 50's chevy cab already has chop started. My problem now is do i try and find a frame around that year, or build one from scratch. Don't know which would be easier or cheaper. any opinions would help. Thanks

may be cheaper to find a hardship sale.

look on E-Bay or Craigslist.


last year in seattle a guy sold an art morrison pro-street chassis, 9'' ford and MII IFS for 5K and with the tires and wheels for 7.5K

How far into the chop is it, and why did they stop? I'd be leery of buying somebodies unfinished chop. Not that I wouldn't buy it, but I'd sure look hard at it.

not sure on the history,but cuts look to be in the right places and section removed from the middle. it comes with another roof. around here old CABS are going for $600 to $1200
