What is it?

I found this a while back and got a picture of it today.

UUUMM, it's a car on it's side. Right? Not a clue, something from the mid 30's.

Here is some more pics from the same place. There were several all flattened into a ditch and 36 Ford was the only one I could identify.
I got the roof, door and other door top from the Dodge panel. The back doors are there but pretty trashed.
And I got the front door pulls from the gimacing chipmonk Nash.

What is it? Not 100% sure, but from the look of the back of the body, it looks like a 33 or 34 Oldsmobile.

Sniper I think you are onto something. I had spent a couple hours looking but never thought to check olds.

OOPs, that's weird, same car

Looks like the same kind of big tail on the back don't it. Those cars don't look to be rusted out real bad, as much as bashed up. Around here, our 'good stuff' is the same as everybody else's 'old rotted out crap' that they toss out. Sniper

These cars are really solid, the part above the ground. The picture of the 49-50 Ford business coupe is bad but it is just mostly the back but with it on it's top all these years the 1/4s are really solid. Same with the Nash. The sad part I didn't get a picture of. There is maybe 5-6 cars mashed into a ditch and almost covered with dirt. I can only identify one and it's a 36 Ford.
I could have saved the back doors on the panel if they weren't blowed full of holes.

Was it like a 5 passenger coupe like the Ford Vicky? I know chevy did have one earlier.

Interesting find .... stuff in South Dakota looks pretty rust-free. Wonder why most of that stuff is upside down. Cow-tippers gone wild ??

I believe thats called a slant back , wonder why the fuel filler is on the opposite side ? maybe its a `36 ?

36 is on the driver side also.

I did some looking and all the chevys with that style had suicide doors, the one I found had conventional doors.
