I removed the box to my 37 Chev truck rat rod and found this. What is it? it's located right below the air bag and not connected to the bag at all.

Obviously RRR is full of experts.

Either that or some sort of sway bar they built. If you remove the linkage does it have any resistance? If so it is a shock and if little resistance a sway device.
