I can't even believe they have the nerve to say stupid stuff like this. If the US cuts back on our oil usage... Saudi Arabia could become an economically vulnerable country! PUT the crack pipe DOWN!!! Is this a joke or something?!?!? Man... I'm doin' my part by burnin' as much petrol in a big American V8 as I possibly can as fast as I can!!!

I say we (the U.S.) fix our own problems first and foremost, if the Saudi's don't like it then FORK THEM.

I also think the the price the U.S. charges for a bushell of grain Export should be a mirror image of what we pay for a barrel of crude oil on the import.

Exactly. How do you expect them to dip everything they own in diamonds and platinum, maintain their desert palaces and fleets of exotic cars if we cut back? I mean they work so hard sitting around watching $$ flow out of the ground and all.

And why would that be silly? Just because you may not agree with him on some issues doesn't mean he doesn't deserve it. Besides, the Nobel Commitee made the decision, it's over, done, and does it really matter what we think?

Not to turn this into a political debate of us vs them, but how about we Americans for a change pulling together and supporting our President instead of looking for reasons to divide our Country?

Now, as for the Saudi's being vulnerable, they probably are. There is a finite amount of oil in the ground and at some point it will dry up. No two ways about it. But feel sorry for them? Nope, that is a different story. They rode that diamond encrusted horse for years and snubbed their noses at the world. I wouldn't shed tear one if they went bust.

What has Obama done for America or the world thus far that has made this a better place? We've heard him apologize for America, outspend all the previous administrations combined, appointed 30+ czars many who are self avowed communists, and who would never have been approved by Congress, weakened our national security, belittled our police, military and doctors.
The latest revelation that he has been given the Nobel Peace Prize is simply weird, as he hasn't done anything yet.
I guess it's simply true that liberals don't really have to do anything worthwhile to take credit as long as they merely have good intentions to do good social things.
America is quickly realizing the danger that he poses.

I use as much or more fuel as the next guy
