Okay so heres the scoop I got to walk thru a hoarders yard today close to work and I have found a couple things im wanting to try to get sense hes in the mood to sell. first thing I found was a 48-52 ford cab farly solid but no means perfect. second was a reo flatbed truck that looked very good with the 20 plus years of crust growing on it sense it was moved last. third was what I believe to be a 48-52 cab over ford but not sure, kinda like the idea of a cab over car hauler just because. among this there was also probly a dozen or so 47-59 chevy trucks all 3 window not 5, a nice straight 48 ish Packard sedan, international metro from the 40s and gobs of other stuff to long to list

I like ford cabs myself,, chevys around here were a dime a dozen , there are alot of them restored here , not so much ford trucks though . Car hauler ???? could be an interesting project .

Buy the property! :D

wish I could. its probly 40 acres or so with stuff every where from moble homes to big city busses. I to would like the cab over myself but I kinda want to build a family rat and I don't how hard parts are to find to try and build it into a crew cab atleast that's what I would like to do to it

I would find the most complete vehicle that I liked, truck, car , whatever. The more complete, the better. Less parts to hunt down, easier to see a start to your vision, plus you can sell what you don't use to buy what you will need.

The Reo or cabover. 4 door cabovers have been done, probably just need a similar year pickup or truck cab. Check those titles and make sure they are usable. Most junkyards just saved them and didn't transfer. I have several in my drawer that are just paper because they were mucked up, stuff like the buyer filled in ect.
