What year is this Plymouth pickup

They have it listed as a 42. I have a picture of a 39 that looks just like it.

It is on a farm auction with a bunch of other stuff including a 42 Chevy COE, 63 Rivera, 67 Rivera, 54 Wildcat.
Yes, if I got that Plymouth it would be to reselll.

the 39-40 have the head lights mounted closer to the grill with the fender ridge running front to back uninterrupted the 41-47 have the headlight pot mounted on the fender sunk into the fender ridge. I agree with you it looks like a 39-40 but if the ownership matches the vin# call it what you want.

Yeah, I know. and I am not even that huge on mopars. It looks like I will have to pass on this auction. It is 150 miles away and I would have to make a special trip back after anything I bought. I suppose I could try to call in a bid in the morning.
