Somebody needs to be shot!

ISore

tell me about it the rest of this car was straight and very little rust, i couldnt believe it,, you would need a whole new top to fix it, the center of the top was cave in about 2 inches, they used no bracing,, i understand trying something new but i dont think they research this before they started,, on the other had , might make it cheaper and easier to get,,, lol:D

It would have to be a lot worse than that for me to pass on it for cheap :)
Of course i don't have to consider tho.

It's about what I would expect my first chop to look like If not better! It just goes to show you, If you don't know what your doing - leave it to somebody who does or simply don't jack around with it to begin with!!! I'd rather drive an unchopped rod than a butchered rod.

Im no expert but it looks about the same as alot of chops iv seen on this board looks like it needs more work filling patching bashing but overall looks salvagable....gotta start somewhere and at least he had the guts to try it...D

I have seen a few car/trucks at shows with beautiful paint jobs but the chop looks terriable. Nothing is aligned and the body lines droop and the doors are hard to shut. I did the chop on mine my self, its not perfect since the body work is just roughed in but the body lines are straight and the doors click shut easy. I have seen people start on chopping a car then give up when they find out that its more than just cutting a few inches from the post.
